A front passenger seat weight sensor can crack and short circuit, which may cause the air bags to deploy unintentionally during a crash.

A software programming error in the airbag control module can cause the side and side curtain airbags to deploy without a crash.
Fuel pump may fail and stall engine while driving
The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Engine Bearing May Wear and Seize, Risking Stall or Fire
A manufacturing error can cause the connecting rod bearing inside the engine to wear and seize, which can damage the engine.
Rearview Camera May Not Display Image, Raising Crash Risk
A faulty connector in the MOST communication coaxial cable can prevent the rearview camera image from appearing on the display.

What owners report
Van is throwing P219A error code, this seems to be a known issue but Honda says my VIN isnât covered, though I see other 2019 odyssey owners have had the same issue and issue with extended warranty coverage.
The front ADAS camera fails to work about 80% of the time, which gives me many warning alerts. My Honda mechanic said that it has a U3000-49 error code, which disables all primary driver-assist safety functions (CMBS braking, Adaptive Cruise, and Lane Keep Assist). This is clearly a safety hazard due to unexpected loss of active crash-mitigation tech. This problem has not caused me to be in an accident yet. However, because of this failure, the vehicle does not perform many of its expected crash-mitigation functions, which may contribute to a future collision.
When starting the vehicle there is a cascade of sensor warning errors that will keep popping up intermittently even pressing the âenter â button to dismiss them. The Crash Mitigation sensor has been reported several times to the local dealership and they have said that nothing is wrong with it. This behavior began when the van was still under warranty which has since ended. The main reason for this report is that I have no idea if thereâs going to be any issues with it automatically braking and causing an accident or anything else such as not being able to dim my headlights, have no indication of other drivers being in my blind spots, lane assistance not working properly and the emerge
