I looked online and many people are saying this is a safety issue - these readings are used for inspections, maintenance, insurance, etc. Th problem is that there are extra segments highlighted in the LCD display, which makes the affected digits unreadable. Like, if all 7 segments appear showing an "8", that could be any number. If the number shows as a 7, it might really be a 1 -- you can't tell. If it shows a 3, that might really be a 7 or 1. I RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT THE AIRBAGS CAN HIT THE PASSENGER WITH METAL IF DEPLOYED OVER SIX MONTHS AGO. I KEEP CHECKING AND HONDA STATES THE PART IS UNAVAILABLE. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HONDA NEEDS TO EXPEDITE PROCURING THIS PART. HONDA SHOULD BE FINE. AND HONDA WILL BE SUED IF ANYONE IS INJURED BY THIS SAFETY ISSUE.
