The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Engine Bearing May Wear and Seize, Risking Stall or Fire
A manufacturing error can cause the connecting rod bearing inside the engine to wear and seize, which can damage the engine.

What owners report
The motor on the passenger side sliding door on our 2018 Honda Odyssey failed. The door could not be opened electrically - or Mechanically from inside or outside the vehicle. We had it repaired at the dealer at a cost of ~$2,000. The sliding door was INOPERABLE when the motor failed. If the car was in an accident the door could not be opened by second or third row passengers or first responders to enable evacuation from the vehicle. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! The problem was confirmed by the dealer. The sliding door canât be opened when the motor fails. The dealer also stated that Honda had an active engineering assessment in process and that a recall might happen - so hold on to
The contact owns a 2018 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle stalled and lost motive power with several warning lights illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road, shifted the vehicle into park(P), and there was smoke coming from the engine. The vehicle failed to restart after the failure. The vehicle was towed to a service center, where an engine failure was confirmed, and the contact was referred to the dealer for assistance. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine and front axle had failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure by telephone. The failur
All my warning light come on every time I turn on the van. Been going on for several months. Was told the issue will get fixed if the front camera under rear view mirror get replaced. Feel like this needs to be recalled to get fixed, especially finding out Honda already knew there was a issue.
All this warning lights just come on out of no where due to the safety camera feature on the windshield that controls all the safety features of the car and this vehicles are not even 10 years old and the repair cost is too expensive for just that camera and almost every Honda odyssey is having the same issue I think there should be a recall for that specific camera in my opinion.
On October 14/15, 2026 it rained. At approximately 12:25pm on October 15, 2026 my power lift gate stopped working. It wouldnât open with any of the controls. Upon further inspection we noticed the control module had water damage. We replaced the module on October 21,2026. It is still having issues. It opens with the controls but wonât close using the same controls. You have to manually close it.
