The contact stated that she continuously depressed the brake pedal down to the floorboard, and the vehicle responded. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure recurred while driving. Several unknown messages were displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. THE WINDSHIELD IS SEVERELY DISTORTED. DURING THE DAYTIME, WHILE MOVING, OR SEEING MOVING OBJECTS, IT IS UNUSUALLY HARD TO JUDGE SPEED AND DISTANCE DUE TO THE DISTORTIONS. AT NIGHTTIME, THE DISTORTIONS BEND, TWIST LIGHTS AND HEADLIGHTS MAKING DRIVING VERY DANGEROUS. MULTIPLE VISITS TO THE DEALER AND A VISIT FROM A TOYOTA FACTORY REPRESENTATIVE TO INSPECT THE WINDSHIELD HAVE BEEN MET WITH REFUSAL TO MAKE REPAIRS. THE FACTORY REPRESENTATIVE DOES ACKNOWLEDGE WINDSHIELD DEFECTS BUT SAYS "THEY ARE COMPARABLE TO LIKE VEHICLES." HE REFUSED TO EXAMINE OTHER NEW "LIKE" MODELS WITH ME BECAUSE HIS ASSERTION IS ERRONEOUS.

MY CAMRY HAS 6K MILES ON IT. ON FRIDAY, 6 DEC 2019 AT 1600, I PICKED UP MY CAMRY FROM YUBA CITY TOYOTA AFTER HAVING ITS FIRST VEHICLE SERVICE. WHILE DRIVING ON HWY 20 TOWARDS GRASS VALLEY, CA LESS THAN 20 MIN AFTER PICKING IT UP, I HEARD AN EXTREMELY LOUD EXPLOSION OVER MY HEAD. IT TRULY SOUNDED LIKE A GUN WENT OFF IN MY CAR.
