I purchased from a dealership approximately two months ago. Shortly after purchasing it, the vehicle began shutting off unexpectedly. I returned it to the dealership, and they told me they could not determine what was causing the problem. About two weeks ago, I had to take it back for a second time because the issue continued. Most recently, the vehicle shut off while I was turning in the middle of the road with my children inside. This was an extremely frightening and dangerous situation, and I am afraid to drive the vehicle because I do not know when it might shut off again. The dealership has now had the vehicle for approximately two weeks and is claiming they cannot duplicate the issue
I have a 2016 Metallic Gray Toyota 4Runner and there appears to be a clear-coat defect on the hood and roof.
Swivel motion has started to jam when half locked, base will show half red/half green and refuse to lock. Unlock handle becomes hard to lift to swivel the car seat back to attempt to lock it again. Iâve contacted Evenflo, but waiting to hear back.
The paint is failing on this vehicle. The color is 8S6 Nautical Blue Metallic. The paint is peeling on the roof, hood, and two doors. The failure has been confirmed by a body shop.
