This concerns the Auto Start Stop (ASS) battery installed at the factory that has the vent hole in the wrong place and was improperly installed so that the vent tube could be dislodged and allow hydrogen gas from charging into the cabin. Both the main battery and ASS battery are installed under the passenger seat and vent outside through a hose. I discovered this situation while replacing the main battery. I contacted Stellantis via email (with and explanation of the numbers in the photo) and they were not willing to address the issue. I have attached a copy of the email and also a photo of the battery compartment. Also, the new ASS battery has the vent hole in a new location. It is my

At 29835 miles, my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee suffered a severe transmission slip/harsh jump. I took it to an authorized dealer on May 5,2026. The dealer charged $559, plus misc. charges of $12.00 and54.25 tax. They performed a transmission inspection, a quick learn to reset points, and noted VEH has an adaptive transmission. Vehicle needs to be driven to accommodate drivers pattern. The transmission is still actively slipping creating an extreme safety risk of sudden power loss in traffic and on highway.

The radio is delaminating. This is a common complaint for jeep. They need to fix this problem

ABS module completely malfunctioned from a shortage. Threw up 7 different codes, even threw up my check engine light for a bit. Can’t even use cruise control because my “memory system” and “park sense” are unavailable. Sometimes it makes the wheel super stiff and the acceleration and break pedals super sticky. I see many recalls for 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s, and believe mine should be included. I should’ve have to pay $3,000 out of pocket for something a ton of people are reporting as an issue. I found one reported a few months back with the same issue.
