COMPONENT (DIODE) ON 60 PIN PCM HAS A SHORT CAUSING INJECTOR NUMBER 6 TO STICK WIDE OPEN. RESULT IS A CYLINDER COMPRESSING FUEL WHICH CAN LEAD TO EXPLOSION, ALSO RAW FUEL ESCAPING OUT OF THE TAIL PIPE AND LARGE AMOUNTS OF SMOKE. GASOLINE PULLS THE OIL OFF OF CYLINDER WALL CAUSING EXCESSIVE FRICTION AND ENGINE DAMAGE ALONG WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER DAMAGE. IF REAR ENDED WHEN INJECTOR IS STICKING OPEN COULD CAUSE EXPLOSION OR FIRE! I HAVE CONFIRMED THIS ON 3 OTHER 93-95 GRAND CHEROKEE OBD I MODELS AS WELL. JEEP WAS IDLING NEAR SOMEONE WELDING AND THE INJECTOR STUCK OPEN AND STARTED A FIRE. FIRE WAS EXSTINGUISHED IMMEDIATELY WITH DIRT AND WATER. NO PHYSICAL DAMAGES OCCURRED JUST

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE HITCHED TO A TRAILER EQUIPPED WITH INNOVA ULTRA RUNNER TIRES, SIZE: 4.80/4.00X12. WHILE HAULING DIRT IN THE TRAILER AND DRIVING 45 MPH, THE PASSENGER SIDE TRAILER TIRE HAD A BLOWOUT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRE WAS REPLACED WITH A SPARE TIRE; HOWEVER, APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR LATER, THE DRIVER SIDE TRAILER TIRE BLEW OUT. THE DRIVER SIDE TIRE WAS ALSO REPLACED WITH A SPARE TIRE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V638000 (TIRES), BUT WAS INFORMED BY THE LOCAL HARBOR FREIGHT STORE THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND CONFIRMED THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT INCL

THIS VEHICLE HAS WHAT IS CALLED A DEATH WOBBLE. IF YOU HIT A BUMP AT ANY SPEED THE STEERING BECOMES NOTHING MORE THAN A PRAYER. WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THIS GET S WORSE. ALL THAT CAN BE DONE IS TO SLOW TO A COMPLETE STOP AS FAST AS YOU. HOT ROD GUYS SEEM TO BE AWARE OF IT BUT. WHAT IF THE REPAIR SHOPS HAVE NO SURE TO FIX FOR THE PROBLEM. I WAS GOING BETWEEN 50 AND 55 WHEN THIS OCCURED.

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING AT A HIGHWAY RATE OF SPEED OVER UN-LEVELED LAND AND THE VEHICLE WAS SHAKING VIOLENTLY WITH A "DEATH WOBBLE". A MECHANIC INSPECTED THE VEHICLE.
