Engine Rod Can Crack and Shut Off Engine While Driving
The connecting rod wrist pin in the engine can crack, which can lead to connecting rod failure.
Fuel rail leak can cause fire in commercial trucks and buses
A sealing washer on the high-pressure fuel rail may not seat correctly in its bore holes, which can allow diesel fuel to leak from the fuel rail assembly.

On certain International DuraStar and WorkStar trucks, the engine control software may allow the engine to rev while the parking brake is applied, if the automatic transmission is in drive or reverse and the stationary PTO switch is engaged.
Diesel Fuel Heater May Overheat, Melt and Catch Fire
The electric fuel heater inside the fuel module on certain diesel trucks and buses with Cummins B6.7 engines may overheat.
Slow brake release may raise risk of brake or tire fire
Certain 2020 International HV trucks were built with a non-Quick Release Modulator Valve instead of the specified Quick Release Modulator Valve.
Engaging PTO can make truck roll despite parking brake
On certain International trucks, if the parking brake is set and the automatic transmission is in Drive or Reverse, engaging the stationary PTO switch can cause engine RPM to ramp up.
Front Wheel Hubs May Lack Lubricant, Risking Wheel Separation
Some 2020 International HV severe service diesel trucks may have front (steer axle) wheel hubs that are insufficiently lubricated or not lubricated at all.

The electric fuel heater inside the fuel module can overheat, causing plastic in the heater to melt.
