Our 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E repeatedly displays "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available," meaning forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking assistance are unavailable. The Ford app recorded 26 occurrences from April 19, 2026 at 8:52 p.m. through October 11, 2026 at 1:51 p.m. No crash, fire, injury, or death occurred. The vehicle was purchased new on November 5, 2024 and is titled to my spouse; I am reporting as spouse, operator, and case coordinator. My Ford Mustang Mach-E has repeatedly slowed down unexpectedly while using Adaptive Cruise Control and BlueCruise, even when there were no vehicles in front of me. The vehicle incorrectly displays a car ahead of me on the driverâs screen and begins slowing down as though it is following that car. However, the road ahead is completely clear. This has happened both on the highway while using BlueCruise and on local roads while using Adaptive Cruise Control. In both situations, the vehicle continued slowing down until I manually intervened. I believe it would have continued slowing to a complete stop if I had not taken control. This creates a serious safety concern because the vehicle can
On [XXX] while traveling south on [XXX] at highway speed (in heavy traffic), multiple dashboard messages started to flash, and the car came to a stop in the middle lane. Thankfully, the people behind me were paying attention and did not hit me. I could not get the car to start or put it in neutral. I called 911 and police were dispatched. They blocked two lanes of the highway to push the car to the side. I was able to override the emergency brake to get it into neutral. It was put on a flatbed and taken to Kings Ford for diagnostics. Kings Ford service said that there were pins that came disconnected that resulted in this. They said this was resolved. I have not had a recurrence sin
While driving my 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT in mild 49°F weather with a 95% battery state of charge, the vehicle suddenly displayed a 'Performance reduced to lower temperature' message on the dashboard. The vehicle entered a protective 'limp mode,' abruptly and unexpectedly reducing available motor power while actively driving in traffic. This sudden loss of propulsion created a hazardous driving condition. No secondary warning icons or wrench lights appeared. Contacted the Ford dealership, but they refused immediate diagnostic service due to technician availability. This code appeared on 9/15/26 dealership failed to return my call.
On 11/18/25 the following warnings appeared on the dashboard: 1) hill start assist warning; 2) Antilock brake fault ;3) pre collision assist not available; and the one-pedal drive did not function. this occurred again on 1/29/26, 2/12/26, 2/22/26, 4/07/26, 5/1/26, 5/23/26, 6/11/26, 6/14/26, 6/19/26, 6/21/26, 7/23/26, 8/06/26 and 8/07/26. Upon re starting the vehicle the warnings went away and the vehicle operated properly. I have received little assistance from my selling dealer and he even suggested I see another Ford dealer
