Hood latch cable snapped at 36k miles
Though we had not experienced any problems with the backup camera on our 2024 Volkswagen Atlas, on September 9, 2026 we brought our vehicle into our local Volkswagen dealer to address NHTSA 26V473 Safety Recall 91TV Rearview Camera Software. As of today, October 15, 2026 this dealer still has our vehicle. We are being told that the software fix did not work on our vehicle and their technicians are waiting for direction from ODIS (Offboard Diagnostic Information System), which if I understand correctly, is a division of Volkswagen. The camera is reportedly now inoperable because of the attempt to replace the backup camera software. I have written emails to the dealer (without response) an
My leased 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport has required repeated dealer repairs for engine/emissions warnings. An August 2026 repair involved diagnostic code P0456 and replacement of the EVAP canister and N80 valve. The vehicle returned to the dealer September 8-18, 2026 for the recurring P0456 concern; the repair included the canister/N80 and an ECM software update. On October 6, 2026, at approximately 28,819 miles, warning lights appeared again and the myVW application reported under Engine/Powertrain: "Error: Drive system. Please service vehicle." A dashboard photograph shows the warning while the speed display reads 55 mph. I am concerned about a possible drive-system malfunction while
The contact owns a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport. The contact stated that while driving from a complete stop, an overheating message was displayed, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle entered LIMP Mode and failed to exceed 3 MPH. The contact was able to pull into a parking lot at a slow speed and became aware of an abnormal burning odor. The contact added coolant to the coolant reservoir, and the vehicle operated as intended. The contact stated that the failure recurred while driving 35 MPH, and the driver drove cross several lanes of traffic to pull over to the side of the road. The check engine warning light was illuminated after the failure. The vehicle was tak
The infotainment system continues to âglitchâ with the faded screen and the hot pink/purple lines that go across the screen. This was upon starting my car, I hadnât even put it into drive. It took over 3 minutes of trying to restart the system to reset it- which I finally gave up and started to drive away. The infotainment system finally shut off about 3/4 of mile away from my house (and I hadnât touched it since putting my car into drive). This has been an intermittent issue since I bought the car in 10/2024 (certified preowned).
