The car accelerated without warning. I did not have my foot on the gas and the car just sped up. This has happened 2 times. The first time I didnt have an accident but today I did. I ran into a pole. I could have killed myself or someone around me when the car sped up. No warning. THE FAN HOUSING BRACKET BROKE OFF BOLTS STILL ATTACHED BUT FAN IS MOVING BACK AND FORTH DUE TO BROKEN BRACKETS BELIEVE DOING TO THE WEIGHT OF THE FAN AND CHEAPLY MADE BRACKET HAD TO TAKE TO DEALER FOR REPAIR OVER 1300 DOLLARS. TOOK TO GOODYEAR FOR OIL CHANGE THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM BUT UNABLE TO GET PART HAD TO GO TO DEALER.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER (OPENROAD INFINITI, 900 US HWY 1 EDISON, NJ 08817-4848) AND WAS INFORMED THAT A REPAIR APPOINTMENT HAD BEEN MADE FOR SEPTEMBER 4, 2017. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
