Back-Up Camera has malfunctioned several times. We received a RECALL NOTICE on it. We took it in for replacement today and were denied recall replacement as they said it worked today. But it has repeatedly malfunctioned while driving. We get a BLANK/BLACK screen with a WARNING to SERVICE CAMERA. It has also been shown with a blurry/fuzzy screen where you cannot make out the images at all. Dealer denied recall even though we have a letter with our VIN number for recall.
I have brought my vehicle to Preston Hood Chevrolet on two occasions for two major issues. Failed breaking system started as when I am at a stop light the car wonât move and the brake light and ignition light comes on and it wonât move when I press the gas! I almost had an 4 car pile up. The contact stated that while driving 35 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. The contact inspected the vehicle and became aware that the inside tread of the rear tires were shredded. Additionally, the failure had caused the outside tread to warp. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and made aware of the failure. The tire failure mileage was approximately 9,000. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 59,994.
