There was a wreck up ahead, and two tow trucks with their emergency lights flashing were blocking the left two lanes. Traffic was stop-and-go due to the existing wreck. I was traveling in the lane to the right of the tow trucks as I approached. I stopped about 1â2 car lengths behind them. When traffic started to move, I began to move forward and advanced about a car length when the automatic emergency braking (AEB) activated and slammed on the brakes, even though the path in front of me was clear. The person behind me rear-ended me. Luckily, no one was physically hurt, but there is damage to our car that now has to be repaired, along with all the headache that brings. If this had happened
