As I turned on the car and the dashboard display and the cockpit display went out. It came back on. A couple days later when the auto stop began and went to go the car hesitated to start and cockpit display and dashboard display went out and back on multiple times, but then stayed on. And then I went to start the vehicle next and it would not start, the both displays flashed, and engine tried to turn over and didn’t.

Took to dealership where they had my 2024 Trax for almost 2 months. Finally, the replaced the Turbo. Barely 2 months later, this part week, I was driving and my car started stalling out, wouldn’t drive… almost got in 3 wrecks with my kids in car - very unsafe to drive. Found out my transmission failed - the point of failure being the transmission cooler. For a not that old car, 2 huge issues in 2 months is ridiculous, and extremely unsafe. I experienced difficulty steering, and later that evening the vehicle would not start. The instrument cluster also displayed abnormal behavior, which was recorded on video. On XXX, an authorized Chevrolet dealership in [XXX], diagnosed a failed battery and replaced it under warranty. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH there was a popping sound coming from the engine compartment and the message to shut off the vehicle was displayed. The vehicle was immediately parked, and there was smoke coming from under the hood. The contact opened the hood of the vehicle and discovered flames coming from the engine.
