225/45R21 Bridgestone Turanza EL450, I purchased the car used in 2025 from Spartanburg Toyota. The vehicle has 22607 miles on it. I have noticed that all four tires outter thread is missing a chuck of thread while i was washing the car. I checked every tire and they all show the same issues. There is currently a Toyota Service Bulletin for the exact same issue for the Toyota highlander (TSB-0017-24) which address the issue "Hesitation felt while accelerating at low speeds." And the fix involves a software update for the engine control unit. Since there is no official documentation for the Toyota crown platinum which shares the same engine configuration, Toyota refuses to provide a resolution. This puts vehicles occupants at risk of a crash, as if you are expecting to accelera
Our 2024 Toyota Crown Platinum has been experiencing random loss of power or torque when merging into traffic from a complete stop. The vehicle will be working fine; then, while attempting to accelerate from a complete stop, there is no torque or ability to accelerate up to posted speed. Not sure if it is an engine or transmission issueâ¦but it represents a significant safety concern when it happens if pulling out from a stop to merge into oncoming traffic. The driver of the vehicle judges if it is safe to make a right turn on red (for example) and when the car does not perform as expected and there is a loss of torque or acceleration, this creates an opportunity for other drivers to rea
