Ford Ranger Recall 26V268: Loose Front Seat Bolt Could Weaken Crash Protection

NHTSA campaign 26V268, reported April 28, 2026, 179,698 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Ford is recalling certain 2024 through 2026 Ford Ranger and Bronco vehicles because the front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt. A seat with a dislodged bolt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, which increases the risk of injury.
