My Screen went out on my Jeep renegade a few years after I bought it new. I brought it up to Mopar and they did nothing. I do not have a backup camera due to this. Not having a backup camera maker driving more difficult. I have read 1,000's of people with same issue.
The contact owned a 2019 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while the contact's daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, smoke began to emerge from the engine compartment. Due to the rear camera not working due to a software issue for over a year now I can't adjust my wipers during the rain. I can't turn on or off the lights or anything else that is controlled by the screen, it doesn't work due to software issue. Since I can't use my camera I can't see things behind me. Sometimes when backing the parking brake will engage on its own with warning light parking brake sensor. Since I can't see the screen I can't adjust the heat or A/C, which makes driving in the winter difficult. I can't turn on the defroster since I can't see the screen, It's just black.
