Subject: Request for Safety Defect Investigation and Recall â 2018 INFINITI QX80 Infotainment/Navigation Screen To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to formally request an investigation into a serious and recurring problem with the infotainment/navigation screen in my 2018 INFINITI QX80 and to request that INFINITI consider a safety recall or other appropriate remedy. The cracked plastic sometimes lifts when turning the wheel which I feel may cause an accident. I have not had it inspected by the dealer of manufacturer as I'm aware they won't repair it currently. There were no symptoms before it happened, it was just cracked/separated one day. Nissan/Infiniti should be required to repair this potential safety issue.
