THE CONTACT DECIDED TO LEAVE THE CAMPER AT THE SCENE OF THE FAILURE AND DROVE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE HE PURCHASED A NEW AXLE. THE CONTACT REPAIRED THE AXLE OF THE CAMPER HIMSELF. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER LISTED THE CARGO WEIGHT CAPACITY AS 2,245 LBS HOWEVER, HIS UNLOADED CAMPER DRY WEIGHT WHEN MEASURED CAME TO 7,641 LB. THE
