We are writing to formally escalate catastrophic and highly dangerous safety failure issues involving a Braun Millenium Lift, hydraulic oil explosion, failure of the emergency back up pump, severe structural defects, a sagging floor near wheelchair tie downs and the rear passenger seat and a four year pattern of negligence from the dealer that installed Braun Lift. We had the van into dealer about this issue many times. They adjusted something and would say every things ok. In August 2026 my husband took van in for maintenance and service manager told him she had 3 of her men stand on lift and it went up fine. It was a continuous issue. The passenger side seat belt locks up at unusual times. Passenger canât reach anything because they are locked in their seat. The seatbelt has locked up numerous times however the mechanic canât repeat the problem in the shop. Yes is has been reported and investigated by TASCA Ford, 1300 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, RI. No indications before the seatbelt locks up.
