What owners report
Alternator belt issues. Chassis belt broke 2 times . House, under hood generator alternator belt broke one. First time there was no warning. But resulted in lose of power steering and coolant. Cut into the coolant hose. A clean break break, not shredded. Second time on start there no warning until the engine over heated and smoke poured from the engine compartment. Belt was shredded. Third time the second alternator belt broke . I was on the the thruway. I heard a flapping noice. The RV was not steering right. I exited the thruway . The engine started smoking . Drove to a safe place to park. Dash lights were on . Opened hood and the coolant resivore was empty , coolant all over the engine.
Thor Sequences RV: The roof top solar that was installed by Thor Motorcoach flew off of the RV roof while I was driving on [XXX] in downtown Columbus, Ohio. I thought something fell out of a cabinet when I heard a thud. I exited [XXX] on [XXX], and a Central Ohio Transit Authority van driver told something flew off the roof of the RV. I parked and inspected the vehicle and discovered the solar panel was missing. I drove to Mark Wahlberg Air Stream where I purchased the camper van and reported the issue. The staff in maintenance showed me two solar panels that were recalled and being replaced. I was informed several days later that the solar panels on my camper van were not recalled. INFORM
Cabinets are falling off ceiling. Screws falling out. Could ask on passenger side bed.
The contact owns a 2022 Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20K RV. The contact stated that the skid plate to protect the alternator had the incorrect OEM bolt size and was also missing bolts to secure the alternator. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact realigned the skid plate and replaced the bolts with the correct size by himself. The RV was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,500.
