Jaguar E-Pace Recall 26V599: DC-DC converter can fail, causing loss of drive power

NHTSA campaign 26V599, reported September 17, 2026, 23,677 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The DC-DC converter, which charges the 12-volt system, may malfunction after an electrical overload during high power demand. A software error can also cause it to stop working at vehicle start-up in certain conditions. If it fails, 12-volt system charging is lost, which can lead to a complete loss of drive power and exterior lighting, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will update the vehicle software free of charge. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 13, 2026, with additional letters to follow once the final remedy is available. For questions, contact Land Rover customer service at 800-637-6837 (recall number E008). Check your VIN for open recalls and schedule the repair at an authorized dealer.
