What this recall means for you
On certain Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles, when the master headlight switch is set to AUTO, the driver may not be able to quickly turn on the high beams. The vehicles also fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and reflective devices.
If the high beams do not activate as intended, visibility at night or in low-light conditions can be reduced, which increases the risk of a crash.
Dealers will reconfigure the vehicle's high beam settings at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2024. You can contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403, and you should check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
