What this recall means for you

The front sprocket on certain Can-Am Spyder F3 and RT three-wheeled vehicles may be defective and wear out prematurely. As it wears, the vehicle can lose drive power.

Losing drive power raises the risk of a crash, since the rider may not be able to accelerate or maintain speed as expected. If you own an affected vehicle, contact an authorized Can-Am dealer to schedule the recall work. The dealer will first perform an interim repair. Once replacement parts become available, the front sprocket will be replaced free of charge.
