What this recall means for you
Certain Autocar Xpeditor trucks from model years 2019 through 2022 have a software problem that stops the hazard warning lights from working when the ignition is turned off. This means the lights may not flash in situations where you would normally turn them on while the vehicle is parked or stopped with the engine off. The vehicles also fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and reflective devices.
Disabled hazard lighting can increase the risk of a crash or injury because other drivers may not see your vehicle as clearly as they should in a hazard situation.
Authorized Autocar dealers will reprogram the hazard lighting software at no cost to you. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls, and contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611 or 1-877-973-3486 if you have questions about this recall.
