What this recall means for you
Certain 2018-2019 commercial vehicles built on Ford and Freightliner chassis with ASA Electronics Voyager back-up camera displays may unexpectedly switch to the factory default settings. When this happens, the camera image can appear reversed on the screen.
A reversed image can lead a driver to turn the wrong way to avoid an object behind the vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should be aware of this risk when using the backup camera.
The repair is free. ASA will notify LGE Coachworks owners, and authorized dealers will replace the displays at no charge. Owners can contact ASA customer service at 1-800-384-4400 or LGE Coachworks at 1-800-209-3985, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
