NHTSA campaign 14V428, reported June 11, 2018, 574,007 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The passenger side frontal airbag may build up excessive internal pressure when it deploys, which could cause the inflator to rupture. The manufacturer advises owners not to drive the vehicle until it has been repaired. Authorized dealers will replace the passenger side frontal airbag at no cost to you. Owners who have questions can contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 or [email protected].
