MY VEHICLE HAS TWO FAULTS THAT I BELIEVE ARE UNSAFE. FIRST, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE HAS ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS PUT ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL AND SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. AN ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL (ETC) WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES WHEN THIS HAPPENS. THE MOST RECENT OCCURRENCE WAS ON AUGUST 24, 2026, AT LOW SPEED IN THE MIDDLE OF A TURN WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC PRESENT. I LOST DRIVE PART WAY THROUGH THE TURN AND HAD TO RESTART THE ENGINE WHILE STOPPED IN THE ROADWAY TO CLEAR THE INTERSECTION. THERE HAS BEEN NO CRASH AND NO INJURY. SECOND, THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY FAILS TO START. SOMETIMES IT STARTS NORMALLY. OTHER TIMES IT WILL NOT START AT ALL, AND ONLY STARTS AFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS AND A WAIT W
