WHILE PREPPING MY 2004 JAYCO GRAYHAWK 24SS CLASS C MOTORHOME FOR OUR NEXT TRIP I DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL LINE FEEDING THE GENERATOR IS LEAKING. IT LEAKS WHILE THE GENERATOR IS RUNNING AND FOR A WHILE AFTERWARD, I GUESS UNTIL VACUUM STOPS IT. WHAT WAS ESPECIALLY SCARY IS THAT THE HOSE RUNS ABOVE AND PARALLEL TO THE GENERATOR EXHAUST PIPE SO THE GAS LEAKS ONTO THE PIPE. THE RUBBER FUEL LINE WAS SCUFFED AND HAD A PUNCTURE ABOUT A FOOT UPSTREAM FROM THE GENERATOR CONNECTION. MY GUESS IS THAT A PIECE OF HIGHWAY DEBRIS HIT IT WHILE WE WERE COMING BACK FROM OUR PREVIOUS TRIP. THAT FUEL LINE IS FAIRLY EXPOSED BENEATH THE MOTORHOME AND IS JUST SOFT RUBBER. I HATE TO IMAGINE WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED
