I brought my car used with warranty and everything was fine even though I barely drove the car because I had another car that I used to commute so I really didn’t drive the car often. Within a week I noticed a loud sound but I didn’t think anything of it because it was a diesel engine. Within a year I was on the freeway and my car just stopped in mid traffic which a semi diesel truck almost hit me due to engine failure. My car just stopped and my check engine light did not come on until this day. My car is still not running because I took to a repair shop and they said that my timing chain had alot of wear it it would cost 4000 to 5000 to fix. I notice that this is a common problem for

The front drivers side headlamp malfunctioned after condensation entered the lamp via rain and then humidity. The issue first started April 12, 2026. I was leaving to go on a 260 miles drive when I pulled out of the drive way and I started getting a flickering "Dipped Beam Fault". It started flickering on and off as I was picking up speed to merge onto the interstate. I drove all those miles with my left thumb on the Menu OK button to clear it. Then it would come back on again as I was going through two major cities. It was very distracting and I kept glancing down every time it would light up. It did this for 5 hours. Also, my signal light was malfunctioning but I always tried to use it eve

Recurrent coolant leak. Known issue with Jaguar. Coolant system is known to have many weak spots due to plastic tubing and weak coupling joints. Had a repair costing $1500 dollars in 2022 just out of warranty. Now experiencing yet another coolant leak. Other owners have also had multiple leaks. I think Jaguar should be held accountable for a manufacturer defect.
