I was in a wreck where I tried to switch lanes from the left to the right, and my power train switched off- which caused electrical parts to splatter into my engine. I then lost control of the power steering. I tried to over correct twice and crashed into the highway divider to avoid hurting anyone else. The only airbags that went off were the passenger side- no driverâs side, front or center. The evidence of the vehicle will show this along with my bodily injuries.

I called the Honda dealership in Concord California on 12/2/2024 for the 20V-770 recall as well as the airbag shrapnel issue. They checked with the service manager and refused to inspect the drive train unless there âWas a problem with the carâ. They refused to repair the air bags unless âsomething happens, hopefully nothing happens then we can look at it.â They offered to have the airbags repaired at our expense. What is the point of having a recall if the dealers refuse to even look at the car until it crashes or hits you with shrapnel?
