Independent mechanic replaced it. After the repair, the SRS/airbag lights remained on. Honda dealer attempted seat weight sensor relearn/initialization but could not complete it. Independent mechanic then diagnosed failed front passenger seat weight sensors (photos available). Dealer confirmed VIN not flagged for NHTSA 26V332 (Honda OOA / bulletin 26-073) covering seat weight sensors on 2017â2021 Civic Hatchbacks. Requested goodwill repair; denied. They refused written denial and would not name the decision-maker. With
Evaporator on the AC system has failed repeatedly Honda is aware this is a reoccurring issue as they offered a goodwill discount once but Iâve had to replace more than once. This is a major visibility issue as the moisture from the faulty evaporator fogs my windshield making it dangerous to drive and the defogger is much less effective
After driving for 20 minutes or more and especially on hotter days my steering sticks. It is very noticeable when going in a straight line. It feels as if it gets stuck in a notch and I have to give it extra pressure to move the car which results in overcorrecting.
