I HAVE A '99 MALARD 26M TRAVEL TRAILER (VIN # [XXX]) WITH A DOMETIC RM2652 (SERIAL # 85100049) REFRIGERATOR IN IT. THE REFRIGERATOR FAILED SO I STARTING SHOPPING FOR ONE AND CAME ACROSS A "RECALL" FOR DOMETIC RV REFRIGERATORS. I CONTACTED DOMETIC REGARDING THE RECALL AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL NOT PAY TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE UNIT. THE UNIT FAILED DUE TO A CRACK IN THE BOILER TUBE AND ALL OF THE AMONIA FREFRIGERANT LEAKED OUT. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A FIRE. DOMETIC CLAIMS THAT THEY WILL ONLY PAY FOR A MODIFICATION TO THE UNIT ONLY AFTER I PAY TO HAVE IT FIXED. THE RECALL NOTICE LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE SAYS IN PARAGRAPH 6 "IF YOU PREVIOUSLY PAID TO REPAIR OR REPLACE A DOMETIC REFIRGERATO
