START WENT BAD AND ENGINE WOULD NOT START. I TRIED TP GET THE DEALER TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM REPEATEDLY UNDER WARRANTY WHEN INITAL SYMPTOMS STARTED TO OCCUR BUT WAS TOLD IT COULD NOT REPAIRED UNTIL IT FAILED, WHICH OF COURSE WAS AFTER THE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED. *LA

WHILE YAMAHA HAS YET TO RECALL THIS DEFECTIVE STARTER, THEY HAVE REPLACED IT ON ITS CURRENT MODELS INDICATING THEY ARE INDEED AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.
