I am reporting an unexpected automatic emergency-braking event involving my 2026 Volvo EX30. On XXX, I was driving uphill on [XXX] near [XXX]. The street was narrow because of parked cars on both sides, and a black SUV was approaching downhill in the opposite direction. I deliberately slowed down and was proceeding cautiously as the two vehicles passed each other. The EX30 suddenly applied the brakes very hard on its own and gave a loud collision/braking warning.
