What owners report
First - van was in the shop 3+ times to fix the crash warning sensor. Eventually, they found a pinched wire - from installation. Told it was fixed - it's not. Next June 23/2025 - the van became completely engulfed in smoke while I was at the gas station. Many wires burned up. Here's a statement of what the dealer has found/done.These are major safety concerns. TMC CASE#: CAS-301574-X0Z3N3 REMOVE ACCESS COVERS, LOCATE BURNED WIRES UNDER JUMP SEAT. INSPECT FOR CAUSE OF FIRE. CHECK BREAKERS AND FUSES. FIND INVERTER INOP. FIND LOOSE CABLE CONNECTIONS UNDER COACH AT BUSS BARS. TIGHTEN CONNECTIONS, FIND BATTERIES DEAD. REMOVE FORWARD BATTERY AND CHARGE ON BENCH. FIND BOTH BATTERIES IN PROTECT MOD
The Engine shutdown four (4) times while driving all within the first 30-days of ownership. My safety was put at risk had another vehicle been following close behind and had it failed to stop and crash into the Van. Hendrick Dodge Ram Cary, NC found 30 plus stored fault codes and I captured 2 Active Codes during two of the shutdowns (Codes U0100 and U0104. The Active Codes signify electronic communication issues. There have been no warnings signs prior to the Engine shutting down. It happens very suddenly.
