What owners report

ENGINE PROBLEM...CAM TENSIONER BROKE AND NOW HAS DAMAGED THE ENGINE/STARTER/ETC... THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH SUZUKI HAYABUSA'S. THERE WAS A RECALL I BELIEVE FOR THE 2001 MODEL...MAYBE OTHER YEARS. MINE IS A 2005. I MAY HAVE BEEN DUPED BY THE DEALER. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THE BIKE THEY SOLD ME WAS MUCH OLDER THAN 2005 AND POSSIBLY WRECKED AND FIXED BY THE DEALER AND THEN RE-SOLD TO ME WITH A NEWER MODEL FRAME SO AS TO HIDE THE FACT THAT IT WAS WRECKED AND AN OLDER MODEL. THE ENGINE PROBLEMS THAT I DESCRIBED WERE COMMON ON THE OLDER MODELS...NOT THE NEWER ONES. *TR
