Toyota Land Cruiser Hybrid Recall 26V341: Dashboard May Fail to Show Critical Warnings

NHTSA campaign 26V341, reported May 27, 2026, 81,893 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The instrument panel cluster in these vehicles may fail to display certain warnings or indicators, such as engine coolant temperature or electrical charge levels. Because drivers may not see this safety information, the vehicles do not fully meet federal display requirements, and the risk of a crash or injury is increased. For the affected Toyota Mirai, the recall also covers a federal standard for electric-powered vehicles.

Toyota will update the combination meter software over the air, and the repair is free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 23, 2026. Dealers will perform the update, so check your VIN for open recalls and contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 if you have questions.

If your vehicle is included, do not ignore the notice. Schedule the free software update with an authorized dealer as soon as possible. Reference Toyota recall numbers 26LB06, 26LA06, 26TB10, or 26TA10 when you call.
