Grand Design Lineage Recall 26V277: Loose Seat Bases Could Shift in a Crash

NHTSA campaign 26V277, reported April 30, 2026, 426 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025-2026 Grand Design Lineage recreational vehicles may have driver and passenger seat bases that were not tightened properly. Because of this, the vehicles do not fully meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207 for seating systems.

If a seat base is loose, the seat could move during a crash, which increases the risk of injury to the occupant. Owners should not wait to have this checked.

Authorized dealers will inspect the driver and passenger seat bases and properly tighten them as needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. To confirm whether your vehicle is included, contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679 and reference recall M910060, or check your VIN for open recalls.
