Grand Design Lineage Recall 26V058: Loose Driver and Passenger Seat Bases Raise Crash Injury Risk

NHTSA campaign 26V058, reported January 30, 2026, 683 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025-2026 motorhomes may have had the driver and front passenger seat bases tightened improperly, so the seat base can become loose. The vehicles do not meet the federal seating system safety standard (FMVSS 207).

A loose seat base increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Owners should not wait to have this checked, since a seat that is not securely anchored may not protect the occupant as designed.

The repair is free. Dealers will inspect the driver and front passenger seat bases and tighten them as needed at no charge. Owners who received the notification letter mailed March 4, 2026 can contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679.
