What this recall means for you
Moisture can collect inside the rear lightbar of certain 2025 Lincoln Navigator SUVs, due to cracks in the outer lens or in the weld track. This can cause the reverse lights to stop working or flicker, and the vehicle then fails to meet federal lighting requirements under FMVSS 108.
When the reverse lights are inoperative or flickering, other drivers may not realize you are backing up. That raises the risk of a collision or injury, especially in parking lots and driveways.
The repair is free. Dealers will replace the rear lightbar at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed January 14, 2026. You can also contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and use Ford recall number 25C66.
