Ford Bronco Recall 25V788: Instrument Panel May Fail at Startup, Hiding Warnings

What this recall means for you

The instrument panel cluster in certain Bronco and Bronco Sport vehicles may fail when the vehicle starts. When this happens, the display may not show critical information such as warning lights or vehicle speed.

Without these readings, a driver may not notice a problem with the vehicle or may not know how fast they are going, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners of affected vehicles should take this recall seriously.

The remedy is free. Ford will update the instrument panel cluster software, either at an authorized dealer or through an over-the-air update. Owner notification letters were mailed December 4, 2025. You can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall 25SC3, and you can check your VIN for open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is affected.
