What this recall means for you
Certain 2025-2026 Ford F-150, F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty, F-450 Super Duty, and F-550 Super Duty trucks have an instrument panel cluster that may fail at startup. When this happens, the display may not show critical information such as warning lights or vehicle speed.
Without those warnings and readings, the driver may not notice a problem with the vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should be alert to any startup display issues and check whether their vehicle is affected.
The remedy is free. Ford will update the instrument panel cluster software, either at an authorized dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update. Owner notification letters were mailed September 5, 2025. For questions, contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall 25S88.
