Ford F-150 Recall 25V515: Parking Lights May Flicker, Reducing Visibility

NHTSA campaign 25V515, reported August 8, 2025, 2,361 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2022 Ford F-150 trucks were repaired incorrectly under earlier recalls, and their parking lights may flicker when the headlights are turned on. The vehicles therefore do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108, which governs lamps and reflective devices.

Flickering parking lights can make your truck harder for other drivers to see, which increases the risk of a crash, especially at night or in poor weather.

Authorized Ford dealers will replace the lighting control module and update its software at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed August 20, 2025. You can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 (Ford recall number 25C38), and you can check your VIN for open recalls.
