Winnebago Ekko Recall 25V478: Seat Wiring Can Block Air Bags From Deploying

NHTSA campaign 25V478, reported July 22, 2025, 2,119 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some Winnebago motorhomes may have airbag (Supplemental Restraint System) wiring that can get caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seat is adjusted. The wires can be damaged as a result.

Damaged wiring can prevent the air bags from deploying in a crash, which increases the risk of injury to occupants. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2025.

Dealers will inspect and re-route the wiring at no charge. To check whether your motorhome is affected, contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885, and check your VIN for open recalls. Winnebago's recall number for this campaign is 199.
