- Problem
- Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational trailers, equipped with Lippert Modularia entrance doors. The door latch mechanism may fail.
- Risk
- Door latch failure may prevent occupants from exiting the vehicle in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will install a new retainer clip and install a secondary retainer to the tension rod, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 12, 2025. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910051.
What this recall means for you
Certain 2025 and 2026 Grand Design Lineage recreational trailers equipped with Lippert Modularia entrance doors have a door latch mechanism that may fail. If the latch fails, occupants may be unable to exit the trailer in an emergency, which increases the risk of injury.
Authorized Grand Design dealers will install a new retainer clip and add a secondary retainer to the tension rod. The repair is free of charge.
