NHTSA campaign 25V467, reported July 11, 2025, 694,271 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A fuel injector in the engine can crack and leak gasoline inside the engine compartment. Fuel leaking near hot engine or exhaust parts can ignite, increasing the risk of a fire.

The interim fix is a free engine control software update at an authorized Ford dealer. The final remedy, a free replacement of the high-pressure fuel rail assembly and fuel injectors, is expected to be available in July 2026, and owners will receive a second letter when it is. Owners who were remedied under earlier recalls 22V-859, 24V187, or 25V165 will need the final remedy once it is available. Ford customer service can be reached at 1-866-436-7332.
