Ford F-150 Lightning BEV Recall 25V438: Loose Brake Hose Bracket Can Cause Fluid Leak and Longer Stopping

NHTSA campaign 25V438, reported June 27, 2025, 5 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A front brake jounce hose bracket screw may loosen and detach. If that happens, the jounce hose can contact the tire and cause a brake fluid leak.

Brake fluid loss can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, which raises the risk of a crash.

An authorized dealer will inspect the front brake hose and replace both brake jounce hose bracket screws at no cost to you. Owners can also call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, and you should check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
