Lincoln Navigator Recall 25V403: Lighting Software May Fail, Reducing Visibility and Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 25V403, reported June 13, 2025, 48 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2022 Lincoln Navigator vehicles that were previously repaired under an earlier recall may have headlight control module software that can cause the side marker lights and daytime running lights to fail. These vehicles do not meet federal lighting requirements. Losing exterior lights can reduce how well other drivers see your vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash.

The remedy is a free software update to the headlight control module, performed by an authorized Lincoln dealer. Owner notification letters were mailed July 16, 2025. If you have questions, you can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.

You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your Navigator is affected and whether any other recall repairs are outstanding.
