Ford Bronco Recall 25V396: Passenger Front Airbag May Not Deploy Properly

NHTSA campaign 25V396, reported June 13, 2025, 2,272 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The active vent flap on the passenger side of certain vehicles may prevent the front air bag from deploying as intended. This means the air bag may not perform as designed in a crash, which increases the risk of injury to the passenger.

An air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury during a crash. Because the defect affects a federally required safety system, the vehicle does not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Dealers will replace the passenger air bag module free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 3, 2025. You can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, and you should check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA's website.
